Chief Technology Officer
Chris is responsible for the company’s technology strategy along with the delivery of new functionality on the G5 Local Marketing Platform. Before joining G5, Chris was Founder and Principal Consultant at Sophiant (Bend, OR), and was architect and Lead Developer on two J2EE projects with SBC Communications (a Fortune 50 company). Prior to Sophiant, Chris was Director, Business Process Integration at Blackstone Technology (San Francisco, CA), where he was the Lead EAI architect.
Chris received his A.B. degrees in Mathematics, Economics, and Computer Science from Bowdoin College (Brunswick, ME), graduating summa cum laude. When not leading the G5 engineering team, Chris enjoys chasing down his twin toddlers. Chris and his family are passionate about locally produced and sustainably raised food. He also actively contributes to several of the local technology working groups.
